CETEC presented the Agro2Circular and upPE-T projects at the Innovation Forum4Plastic

In a joint collaboration supported by the Horizon Europe Program, CETEC (Centro Tecnológico del Calzado y del Plástico) assumes its role as technical coordinator in the K-CCRI project (Knowledge hub to leverage existing initiatives and projects to foster the adoption of Circular economy in Cities and Regions In Europe). This project is designed to leverage existing initiatives and projects to foster the adoption of Circular economy in Cities and Regions In Europe. The official presentation took place last Thursday, January 25 in Brussels, marking a significant start in the search for sustainable solutions.
The alliance, formed by 11 partners, includes multiple European networks, companies and institutes from Spain, Poland and Finland, among others, and aims to establish a Knowledge Hub and actively promote the adoption of the Circular Economy.
In close coordination with the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI), an initiative of the European Commission, the K-CCRI project aims to provide support and resources to cities and regions interested in developing circular economy models. This project seeks to reduce barriers, especially in the business, technical, political and knowledge domains, which often hinder relevant actors in cities and regions when trying to implement this innovative economic model.

The launch of K-CCR I represents significant progress in promoting sustainability and the adoption of more circular practices across Europe. This project is a valuable opportunity to overcome challenges, foster connections between regions and cities, and lay the foundations for a more sustainable future.
